Disney Day 5 Part 1
Today we had breakfast at 1900 Park Fare which is in the Grand Floridian. (Let me tell you how fun it was walking in there with a broken stroller by the way. Not embarrassing at all.) That place is gorgeous! I remember the first time Anthony and I went in there and him saying we could never stay there (like we could afford to anyway) because he would always feel under dressed. And really, who wants to dress up on vacation? But, truth be told I think I could get over that should the chance ever arise to stay there.
ANYWAY, Grammy made Lily a Princess dress just for the occasion. How cute is this?!
I love this dress and need to get back to Joanns and get more fabric and beg her to make another one for our next trip.
This is a character breakfast that we've never done before. The food wasn't all that great and the restaurant itself felt pretty tight to me and it wasn't even very full. I'm not sure we'll do this one again. But, as usual, the characters were fun and really, the whole reason we went anyway.
We met up with Pooh:
Tigger:
Mary Poppins:
Alice and the Mad Hatter:
Super Fun!
Next, we were on to Animal Kingdom.
Who in the world is this dude?!
Anyone know? I don't have a clue, but Gavin doesn't care.
We decided to go get Fastpasses for Everest and then went to see Festival of the Lion King. I think IF Anthony was disappointed to miss anything, it would have been this. He loves that show! And, it was great as usual. Gavin even got picked to go out and join the show for a bit at the end. So fun!
Now it was time to use our fastpasses! Dad and I got to ride twice in a row (we used Mom and Gavin's tickets to get 2 extra fastpasses). I love that ride! Gavin and Grammy played Uno while we rode Everest, then Kali River.
We had lunch at Flame Tree BBQ, then headed over to Dinoland. On our way, more characters.
Piglet:
Eeyore:
Pooh:
In Dinoland, we made up for not riding Dumbo and rode the dino version which is just as good. Minus the line. Works for me.
We made a stop at the playground for a couple of minutes. Grandpa had a great time with all those kids. Or not. Either way, Gavin loved it:
It was a busy morning and we were ready for a little break, so we started to make our way out. Some quicker than others.

Sorry this post was so long. Up next: Pirate Party take 2!

Disney Day 4-Epcot
We got a little bit of a late start today...it's all starting to catch up to us at this point! We had a quick breakfast at the food court at the hotel.
Then it was on to Epcot!
We get parked and I go to get the stroller out of the car and one of the wheels had broken off!! Unbelievable! What am I going to do with Lily all day? She loves the carrier, but I don't think she'll enjoy it all day. And, the strollers to rent are way too big and uncomfortable for a tiny baby. Crap.
Well, lucky me, the stroller still worked with 3 wheels! I'm sure we got some crazy looks, but oh well. I didn't even realize how strange it must have looked until I got home and saw some of the pictures. Here's one from later in the trip: nice hunh?
My first stop of the day was Guest Services. I was talking to someone at the concierge desk at the hotel about our Pirate Party getting rained out and he suggested going there and seeing if they might issue us another ticket for a different day. I figured it was worth a shot, all they could say was no right? Well, after waiting for about 20 minutes, I walked out of there with 3 tickets to the Pirate Party for Saturday night! I was thrilled! Yea Disney! Our 2nd attempt would be tomorrow night and hopefully there would be no rain.
We had such a late start and unexpected delays that my plan for the day was thrown off completely. We decided to do a couple of things in Future World-Test Track, Soarin and Living with the Land.
Next up: a trip around the world.
We met some crazy bears in Canada:
We did a little shopping, Gavin's souvenir for the day, a new Webkin he named Buddy:
Then Gavin decided he was hungry. Grandpa was having a brat with sauerkraut and Gavin wanted some. I was totally grossed out, but he loved it! He ended up getting one of his own and I believe he ate most of it, if not the entire nasty thing.
Every other time we've gone to Epcot, the only place we've really had luck with characters was in Future World in the building where they are most of the day. This time, the line there was crazy long so we skipped it, but ran into characters throughout the park:
Gavin also did the Passport thing again this year. Last year he filled out the entire book, this time only about a third of it got done.
We decided to call it a day at about 5 or so I think. Anthony was done golfing and waiting for us to have dinner. I don't remember where we went to eat, but we pretty much hung out and rested a bit that night. I think Grammy and Grandpa went to MK to watch Wishes. Fun day!

Disney Day 3 part 2-MGM
Or Disney Studios as it's now called. Strange to change the name of a park, but whatever.
We had a dinner reservation tonight at 50's Prime Time Cafe. I've never been there before, so we thought we'd try it out. I think it was my least favorite meal of the whole trip. There wasn't much to choose from and none of it was my kind of food. Bummer.
We didn't spend too much time at this park, we didn't even ride any rides. We did however see the Muppets 3D show, it was OK. Gavin seemed to like it too.
After that, we headed over to meet some characters.
JoJo & Goliath:
One of the Little Einsteins, Leo I think:
Mr Incredible:
That was it. We were pretty tired and knew we had another busy day tomorrow, so we called it a night and headed back to the hotel. Fun Day!
