Some Disney pictures...

So I'll start my defense by saying that I didn't have my own camera this trip AND Anthony was gone for half of the trip. The result being that I only took 118 pictures and about 1/4 of those turned out. Also, I normally take full advantage of Disney's Photo Pass and end up buying the disc with at least 100 pictures on it-this time however, I barely got 20 pictures taken, maybe 2 of them worth anything. Now that I am home and have looked at the pictures (or lack thereof) I am so disappointed. We had such a good time and did so many fun things, and I have barely any pictures. :( Case in point, Lily got her very first haircut-in the Magic Kingdom no less, and I spent the whole time fighting her so I couldn't get a picture. Although, my parents did come with us and I haven't seen their pictures yet, so fingers crossed that they got one of that momentous and nerve racking event! (She was so mad that she threw a lollipop across the room so hard that it shattered) Anyway, here are a few of my salvaged photos...

Lily doing what Lily does-run away...

Handy Manny

We captured Zurg!

Donald Duck

Lily's favorite:

We HAD to go to the Lego store, of course

Nice look

Piglet

Gavin's favorites! He couldn't get enough of them! He decided this trip to collect Stitch pins and was very successful-he filled his whole lanyard! Funny thing though-he went on Stitch's Great Escape for the first time and hated it! Apparently he doesn't like being spit on. Go figure.

June

Goliath

JoJo

I swear she lived off grapes, milk and pizza all week. Oh, and fries. Picky little eater.

Terk

Another time I wish I had more pictures of-she went running up to him and gave him the biggest hug, and this is the only picture I have. I could cry.

Gavin has to ride this train every time we go...

I have to say, this stroller was the best!!

She saw what she wanted and went for it...

Our last charater meal of the trip and I could not get any good shots! It was so dark in there and crowded, so the characters didn't spend much time with us. :(

Check out Gavin's stylin' poncho! We had the best weather, until the last full day. It was cold and rainy. But, that made the crowds manageable. Anyway, he normally would not have wanted to see a Princess, but we got caught in a sudden downpour and ducked under cover and there they were with noone else! I think I took 10 pictures here alone because I actually had the time. Sad.

Anyway, we had a great time and can't wait to go again!!

Disney Autograph Books

Last weekend, Christiann and I had a full day of scrapbooking! We moved into Archivers for 13 hours and had a blast! We each did 20 scrapbook pages and some other random projects. One of mine was these books for our trip (10 days yay!) Now, I know Lily won't use hers for what it was intended, but she loves Pooh and I figured if Gavin has one, so should she. This way too, she'll leave his alone. Anyway, they were super easy to make using my Bind it All.

Estes Park

This past weekend our family went to Estes Park for the holiday. We had so much fun! We went with 3 other families-17 of us! We shopped, ate, played games, did arts & crafts and more. I'm finding it hard to take as many pictures as I normally would have, but with 2 children to keep an eye I don't have a free hand any more. So, I missed some things that I would have liked to take shots of, but I got a few goods ones anyway.(actually Christiann took some of these too)

Some of the kids took an Animal Detective class at the YMCA. They learned about what kinds of tracks and clues different animals leave behind.

They even went outside to look for some.
And saw an elk!

We also went over and rode these cool slides:

I wish I had been able to take more pictures as these don't do justice to the great time we had. I'm hoping we can go again soon-maybe Labor Day?

Disney Day 5 Part 1

Today we had breakfast at 1900 Park Fare which is in the Grand Floridian. (Let me tell you how fun it was walking in there with a broken stroller by the way. Not embarrassing at all.) That place is gorgeous! I remember the first time Anthony and I went in there and him saying we could never stay there (like we could afford to anyway) because he would always feel under dressed. And really, who wants to dress up on vacation? But, truth be told I think I could get over that should the chance ever arise to stay there.
ANYWAY, Grammy made Lily a Princess dress just for the occasion. How cute is this?!

I love this dress and need to get back to Joanns and get more fabric and beg her to make another one for our next trip.
This is a character breakfast that we've never done before. The food wasn't all that great and the restaurant itself felt pretty tight to me and it wasn't even very full. I'm not sure we'll do this one again. But, as usual, the characters were fun and really, the whole reason we went anyway.
We met up with Pooh:

Tigger:

Mary Poppins:

Alice and the Mad Hatter:

Super Fun!
Next, we were on to Animal Kingdom.

Who in the world is this dude?!

Anyone know? I don't have a clue, but Gavin doesn't care.
We decided to go get Fastpasses for Everest and then went to see Festival of the Lion King. I think IF Anthony was disappointed to miss anything, it would have been this. He loves that show! And, it was great as usual. Gavin even got picked to go out and join the show for a bit at the end. So fun!

Now it was time to use our fastpasses! Dad and I got to ride twice in a row (we used Mom and Gavin's tickets to get 2 extra fastpasses). I love that ride! Gavin and Grammy played Uno while we rode Everest, then Kali River.

We had lunch at Flame Tree BBQ, then headed over to Dinoland. On our way, more characters.
Piglet:

Eeyore:

Pooh:

In Dinoland, we made up for not riding Dumbo and rode the dino version which is just as good. Minus the line. Works for me.

We made a stop at the playground for a couple of minutes. Grandpa had a great time with all those kids. Or not. Either way, Gavin loved it:

It was a busy morning and we were ready for a little break, so we started to make our way out. Some quicker than others.

Sorry this post was so long. Up next: Pirate Party take 2!
